Fine Arts Festival
The 2024 Fine Arts Festival was held April 21-26, at Rockingham Community College’s Whitcomb Student Center. A “Sneak Peek” and Purchase Night were set for April 18 for sponsors and artists, to promote sales of artists’ work.
The 2024 Festival marked the 80th year of the event. The popular Festival offers monetary awards of $100, $50, and $25 to the first, second, and third place winners respectively in up to 19 categories. The coveted Best of Show award of $500 is chosen from the first-place winners. Best First-Time Entry is awarded $100. Judges of the festival are professionals in related fields and non-residents of Rockingham County.

Other
FAFA sponsors fundraising events such as an annual Aw Shucks Oyster Roast. New programs in art promotion and education are being developed to implement as funds permit, which includes a $500 scholarship.
