You are invited to the 2nd annual Watercolors On Washington – Reception and Sale. Again this year generously hosted by Pace-Stone – 663 Washington St., Eden.
Local watercolor artists will be featured and all art will be for sale. Unique to this one-of-a-kind event, art will be paired with rugs and home decor offered by Pace-Stone.

81st Fine Arts Festival of Rockingham County some exciting news to share. This year, Festival is expanding our young artists eligibility. Festival is now open to anyone in High School (9th grade or above). Additionally, a $100 prize & ribbon will be awarded to the best 21 and under artwork.
And most exciting of all, Festival activities will move to the brand-new Center for Workforce Development at Rockingham Community College with expanded facilities. The new building is located at 184 Wrenn Memorial Rd., Wentworth.
All Festival is open to all who live, work, or attend school in Rockingham County. Festival will begin with our Awards Ceremony on April 6 and the show will be open to the public April 6-12.
This year’s categories are – Acrylic, Digital Art, Drawing, Fiber, Jewelry, Mixed Media, Oil, Pastel, Photography B/W, Photography Color, Poetry, Pottery, Prose, Sculpture, Watercolor, Woodworking, and Wood Turning. Registration will be open on March 15 and the schedule for art submission is available on Facebook and our website.
Rules of the Festival:
All work must be the original design of the artist.
Entrants must be in high school or older. Entrants must live, work, attend school or worship in Rockingham County.
Music – place on a thumb drive, print out lyrics or the score if you have them in duplicate & only put your name on the piece for display at the show.
Poetry/Prose – please print 2 copies of your work. Do not put your name on the one for judging. Place the copy for display in a clear folder.
All work must be dry and ready to hang when entered. No sawtooth hangers, wire only. Charcoal and pastels must have a protective coating or under glass. Fiber includes – Quilting, weaving, crocheting, knitting, tatting, and fashion design with original design and construction by the artist.
